March's Block

Here is March's block! I get all of these block kits from Crafty Wood Cutouts in Orem if you want to get them. I also just hung it with tulle and used wire to link the clovers together.

LUCK!

I just finished "LUCK" this craft the other day. I got the letters from Crafty Wood Cutouts. They actually have a contest on their Facebook page every week. If you post a finished craft you bought from them then they put you in a weekly drawing. I posted this to their Facebook page for their weekly drawing and WON a $10.00 gift certificate! Now I would call that LUCK! YIPEE! :)

February's Block

Here is Februarys block :) I love that I get to change this every month!

XOXO

I loved making this craft. I have a spot on my entertainment center that I like to change out every month and this fit there perfectly!

THE MONTH OF LOVE!

In relief society this month we made LOVE blocks! They provided the vinyl letters and the wood blocks and so I just added the paper and switched my "o" for the paper cut out into a heart.

CALENDAR BLOCKS

Ok so I absolutely love these calendar blocks! They are so nice for desks/office areas. They are pretty easy to make too! If you have any questions how to make them let me know.

RECTANGLE MAGNET BOARDs

Here is another magnet board I made. Instead of the standard square board they also sell the rectangle ones at Roberts. I cut the paper the same (2 2/3" X 2 2/3") and just modge podged them on. You can also put the modge podge on top of the paper for a more glossy look or you can just modge podge it on without covering the top with modge podge too! If you have questions how to make anything let me know.

PICTURE FRAME

Ok so there is this store in Midvale UT called The Wood Connection and I pretty much fell in love with it! haha They have these frames there. I just painted the base and used a cricket to cut out the letters and modge podged them on. For the magnet flowers I just got magnets and hot glued the flowers on and put a jewel in the middle

Fabric on Canvas

Wall decorations for CHEAP! I found some canvas at Hobby Lobby. I just bought fabric and covered the canvas with the fabric (you can just glue gun the back) Makes for a easy cute wall decoration....plus you can put them up in different designs...

Vinyl

My roommate has a cricket and we needed some color to our bathroom so she helped m cut out the vinyl :) LOVE IT! Thanks Tanille!

ANNOUNCEMENT BOARD

We always have wedding announcements so I found a plain magnet board at IKEA and cut out 2 2/3" X 2 2/3" square papers. I modge podged the paper on the magnet board.

RECIPES CLIP

I got this wooden recipe clip at JoAnn Fabric. I just painted and sanded it then added the letters with modge podge. Its very convenient to use to hold up your recipes. We are actually going to make them for a craft activity in relief society at the end of March :) I will have to take pictures of how they turn out

RECIPE BOX

I found a wood box at Michaels craft store. I covered the sides of it with the striped paper (just used modge podge) and the top with the blue paper. I just added the letters and flower and ribbon. I enjoyed making my own cause I can never find recipes boxes that match my kitchen colors!

Magnet Boards

For my nieces and nephews birthdays I made them all their own magnet boards. I got the magnet boards at Roberts craft store. I just painted the board and sanded it. I found 4 pieces of paper and cut them to 2 2/3" x 2 2/3" squares. I then modge podged them on the wooden board. I bought the wood letters at Michaels craft store. I just painted those and decorated them with paper, ribbon and/or bottons. I hot glued the letters to the board.
